Position Summary:
This is a full-time (academic year appointment) tenure-track position for the College of Law's Boise location, at the rank of Assistant Professor. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching doctrinal courses that may include Family Law; Wills, Trusts, and Estates; Estate Planning; Tax Law; Negotiation/ADR; and/or other subjects determined in consultation with the dean. The faculty member will be expected to develop mentoring relationships with law students, advise students on curricular and co-curricular activities, and develop a scholarly, outreach, and engagement agenda that will enrich the scholarly and legal communities and those they serve. The faculty member will also represent the law school through participation in scholarly conferences, as well as through publication in national and/or international scholarly journals, which may include interdisciplinary placements. The faculty member will also attend faculty meetings and serve on committees at the University and/or College level.

Minimum Education/Degree Required:
Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire.
Required Qualifications:
- A J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent
- Teaching experience, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A record of excellence in scholarship, or related experience
- At least three years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience
- Expertise in the area of family law; wills, trusts & estates; tax law; and/or negotiation/ADR.
