Posting Context Statement:
This position supports project and program development through a variety of administrative and coordination tasks. Key responsibilities include event planning, coordinating student services programs, and processing financial documents. This position is forward facing for both event tasks and meetings as well as being a point of contact for cross-campus departments pertaining to events and student programs. All tasks and responsibilities are in coordination with and overseen by the Program Manager for Law Events.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.

Duties may include:
  • Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
  • Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
  • Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
  • Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
  • Maintaining program calendars and schedules
  • May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
  • Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions


Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Preferred:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (public relations, hospitality, business etc.)
  • Proven experience in office support, including word processing, filing, document creation, reception, and data research and reporting
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and explain complex information, including regulations, policies, and services
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive and effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, students, faculty, and visitors
  • Work on multiple assignments with frequent interruptions with efficiency and high accuracy
  • Experience with University specific programs such as Chrome River, Jaggaer, and CANVAS
