Under direction from the Director of Housing and Residential Life, the Assistant Director of Residential Support is responsible for the overall management of student success initiatives, programs, and student interventions.

Position Overview:
This position supports Housing and Resident Life students and staff.
Duties will include:
Duties will include:
- Supervise, train and mentor Resident Directors
- Collaborate with academic partners to develop strategies and programs
- Guide the Residence Life staff retention efforts at the floor and hall level
- Direct the efforts with the Intentional Interaction Model and the Living Learning Communities in collaboration with our academic partners
- Life safety on call rotation
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Work experience that demonstrates:
- Advising students
- Leadership
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree
Required Other:
- Ability to work nonstandard business hours which may include evenings and weekends as needed
- Possess a valid drivers license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university-owned vehicles
Additional Preferred:
- Experience in a live in role in Housing and Residence Life
- Masters degree in Higher Ed, Counseling or other related educational fields
- Experience with Residential Curriculum
- Demonstrated experience with assessment and data analysis
- Demonstrated experience coordinating both large and small scale programs
- Experience in supervising student staff
- Demonstrated ability to foster student success
- Skills in crisis management
