The position may also include academic release time to support administration, recruitment, engagement, and retention for both programs. The selected candidate will teach professional and post-professional athletic training education courses, and the focus may be in one or more of the following areas: prevention/acute care of injury and illness, immediate and emergency care, therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, clinical scholarship, or clinical education/experience. The successful candidates will primarily advise and mentor graduate students in the MSAT and DAT programs and serve on department, college, and university committees.
