Auxiliary Services supports the student experience and university mission through self-funded units including housing, dining, retail, golf, textbooks, events, concerts and more. The VandalStore is a key revenue-generating unit serving as the universitys official retailer for textbooks, technology, licensed merchandise and e-commerce. This position is embedded within the VandalStore and is essential to maintaining its digital presence, supporting online sales growth and executing retail marketing strategies. It oversees web content, e-commerce coordination, digital promotions and social media for the VandalStore.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for deploying web engagement technologies in support of university marketing and communications efforts. The position is expected to take on complex projects with a high level of autonomy.

- Advise stakeholders on how best to deploy web content
- Design, create and maintain websites, bulk email, forms and calendars
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to complete assignments
- Create analytics reports, evaluate outcomes and make recommendations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- Three years creating and maintaining websites
- Collaborating with individuals and teams
- Coordinating projects
- Applying web design and web marketing principles
- Using web analytic tools
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Other:
- None
Additional Preferred:
- Strong client management and communication skills
- Website design, implementation and user experience knowledge
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience managing multiple direct reports
- Experience in marketing or communications, preferably in higher education
- Knowledge of color processes including RGB, CMYK and PMS for both print and digital production
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Ability to lead with empathy and provide supportive guidance to student staff or interns
